This may be the triplet story to end all triplet stories.
The triplets (Christian, Jordan and Alexandra) are now 3 1/2 years old -- two boys, one girl. Very smart and precocious.

I am laughing my ass off. First, they were howling like cats in heat in general whe my niece called to tell me. Christian is having a pick on everyone day, which is making no one happy. Jordan was yowling in the background.

Last night, my niece went out to dinner with some friends, leaving Dada in charge. Well, first of all, Dada did not clean up the living room at all, even down to dirty plates from dinner, not to mention toys strewn hither, thither and yon.

Because he was in charge, my niece was not supposed to go upstairs, so she waited a while and went up going on 10:30. It seems that Dada had let Alexandra take a purse to bed without checking the contents (which my niece always does). This was bad because there were crayons inside the purse, which the threesome used to draw some lovely pictures on three walls of their bedroom, not to mention both sides of the upstairs hall.

My niece walked into the bedroom and said “OH MY GOD!!!”, to which the triplets replied that she wasn’t supposed to say “God” like that. She explained that this was one instance where she could. Fortunately, she had some kind of product called something like Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, which successfully removed the murals.

Dada is in the doghouse and he has called from work one more time this morning to apologize. The triplets’ punishment is no TV for three days, which my niece thinks may be more punishing to her than them because at least it shuts them up for an hour.

I felt badly for laughing, but it was too damn funny. I think my niece is planning to maintain a sizeable supply of this miracle product.

1. Reminds of a friend who was pulled over for speeding
The cop growled "Lemme see your license," and my friend's seven-year-old daughter indignantly piped up, "Daddy, he didn't say 'please'!" The cop laughed, apologized, and let my friend off with a warning!
