1. She's already been in a scandal!
TOKYO--The world was shocked last night when virtual idol Hatsune Miku was seen staggering out of an electronics store in Akihabara. She was seen to be clutching several sticks of RAM and a high-end video card. When approached by reporters Miku was quoted "It's not a problem, I can quit anytime I want!" She then crawled into the back of a waiting Mercedes sedan, and inadvertently exposed her motherboard. Miku's publicist could not be reached for comment at the time of this writing.

:D

2. She's no less real than any of the other pop stars of today.
The folks behind "her" make an interesting and clever point.

All the way to the bank.
