Some sort of parasite. A slow, painless one (if there is one). Otherwise, I'd say a great white. The moment I hit the water, I'd have a heart attack and go unconscious. I'd never know what happened. Yeah, scared of sharks. A bit.

1. I have a tendency to name my pets after singers and songs anyway. I had a Dobermann namde Phaedra once, after the Tangerine Dream piece, had and I have a dog now named Merrily (as in "Life is but a dream")

2. The first thing that comes to mind is that when I was 13 and my mother was in the hospital, my father took me to visit her. For some reason I was wearing a muumuu that belonged to her, and was carrying her overnight bag. In the elevator, a young corpsman asked if we wanted to go to the maternity floor. It wouldn't have been so bad if my father hadn't laughed until he couldn't breathe. After all this time I still cringe.

3. Stories. I can tell them and listen to them all day long.

4. Oysters. I grew up around them and hated them as a kid but now? Oh, baby.

5. Orca. I'd just as soon be crapped into the ocean.

Back in the day I put on the same pants I had worn the day before without noticing that my undies were in them, and they fell out at a bad time. Pissing on my pants in front of the five hottest guys in the company would have been an easy first place, but by the grace of God I managed to hide it.

No comment on the drugs. :D

I had an archnemesis in high school that I totally hooked up with. Hate sex = awesome. :D

1. Dog ... song to/of the dog ... lemme think now ... he was a great dog, I'm sure I sang to/of him. Someone wrote a poem about him, but I guess that doesn't count. I'll come back to this one later. Wait a minute, it's coming to me. I'm hearing "Leo, by the sea-o, my-oh-mio". Dammit, there must be more than that. I doted on that dog.

3. Getting these answers out of sequence is not the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me. Once, long ago when I was a promising young student, I was insulted by a minor poet. In response to something he said to me which I forget, we were in the campus record library at the time so it was probably something about music, I replied enthusiastically "I'm cool." "You!" was his retort, "You're as straight as they come!" Oh I was crushed. I was crestfallen. I vaporised away outta there.
