Was reading the posts in a thread at another part of DU and spotted the above. I've been here about 2 years and don't recall a ban on mentioning chickens here in the Lounge.

1. A recap. (They got it half-wrong)

At one time, following a long and bloody flamewar (we're talking over a week and about 20 threads. Many pizzas and forced mutual ignores.) about whether it was appropriate to use crushed cornflakes to bread chicken, the very mention of fried chicken was a bannable offense. Seriously. Skinner had to pin a note to that effect to the top of the Lounge.

Also, Good Italian food in NYC...totally got to go with the Olive Garden. Hospitaliano!
