Today I walked home from work
I feel pretty darn good. This is the first time in a decade.

Its impressive to me on two levels. At least. I think its awesome that I now live within a reasonable walking distance of my job. I also think that its pretty awesome that I can now walk a reasonable distance to get home. For a good stretch of time, neither was true.

Now all I need to do is scare up a bike, which would make it practical to get to work without a car.

1. nice!
Congratulations. I have been within walking distance of my work a couple different times. I enjoyed it mostly; even in the worst weather it wasn't terrible to walk.

4. In the worst weather here
you would get drenched. And that goes for the summer or the winter. One way or another, in bad weather, your getting wet here in the rainforest.

2. You're lucky your dress code permits it.
Try walking in my suit on a sunny day.

3. I dont think I could walk to work
But walking home, which I did, that's different. I think the effort of biking would be enough reduced that I could manage to get to work in a passable state. That's my next project. Get a bike

7. I used to walk home from work 2 years ago. I lost quite a bit of weight.
