Well, DEADWOOD has me hooked now.

A two-episode catch-up is now playing on HBO(something or another). It's starting over again with episode 1 at 11 PM ET.

It's starting to look like the only things worth watching are on cable. All my old shows have gone off the air with this season, and what with the FCC crackdown, at least people will fight over cable shows.

Who would have thought a Western could be more violent than the Sopranos? There's tons of great b-movie, character actors in this. A lot of old faves.

I give it 2 thumbs up.

1. I'm a big fan already myself.

The language is quite salty but other than that it's shaping up to be a great story. I'm one of those who always cheers for the bad guys but in this one I'm wearing the white hat. Al is a disgusting individual.

HBO always puts their shows on DVD these days.

5. ME TOO! Im very hooked on the show..More than the Sopranos

Last nights show has got me hooked..I love the Bad guy. A good bad guy is one you HATE and I really want to see that guy get his..
I really liked Clamity Jane I hope she comes back she had some really powerful scenes.
Cant wait for the next show..I just hope they dont use the " Twin Peaks" writers crutch and turn it wacky and strange when if they run outa ideas. ( like Carnival ), They should um pardon the cliche " keep it real " But so far I am in love with this new show

6. I am having a bit of a problem keeping track of the characters

The Bartender will end up being a classic villain if the shows survives. He reminds me of Gary Cole in "American Gothic". Lovable villain with horrible traits and great INTERNET usable quotes.
