Confession time: Cold Case often makes me bawl.

I'm not kidding, like a little kid with a skinned knee.

Maybe it's the good stories, maybe it's the great music. (which is always on the mark, it's scary.)

Perhaps it's overly-maudlin but I love that show.

1. you are not alone.

I've often told people that the last 5 minutes of that show they can always find me in tears. I love the music too and how it pulls the time and place together. Also, the way the victim always shows up (ghost like) at the end -- sort of like a goodbye -- is always bittersweet. The sets depicting different years always impress me too. It's believable. I like the characters.

The last five minutes is usually the straw that breaks the camel's back.

They do a very good job of seperating the time periods.

2. One of my favorite programs - the acting is GREAT and the scripts are usually

right on the money without being to far over done.

AND...it's shot in Philly!
