Happy Rosh Hashanna and have a wonderful New Year!
We went to my wife's aunt's house in North East Philly last night for a family dinner and had to brave the Philly rush hour (3 to 6:30 PM) traffic...took 3 hours to get there!
But we had a great time, and it was amazing how fast the last year went by.

Have a great new year!

1. Rosh Hashanna seems to have coincided
with the end of Ramadan this year.

Everyone's packing on calories.

And a good year to you!

:hi:

(That traffic sounds like a nightmare. And people go through that every day? Yikes!)

2. Not us - my wife used to live there, and even she can't stand it any more...
We did have a good laugh, though - we saw a new 2010 Bentley Continental in the next lane over from us, top speed 210 MPH, cost around $250,000-stuck in traffic behind an '80's Ford van, everyone going around 12 MPH...

3. Happy new year!
I went to my aunt's house for dinner last night. Two of my cousins are very pregnant and just about ready to pop - one of them couldn't be there because she wasn't feeling well, sadly. Now I'm off to my first high holiday services in....13 years. Woah.

:hi:

All my best wishes for the year to come!

I beat the traffic this year- I had the family come down to Swarthmore instead of driving out to KOP like usual! Definitely prefer cooking to driving I-76 and US 202 at rush hour
