3. W. is "thinking": "Geez. A lot of poeple don't know it, but
cheerleading is being an athlete, too. Our faculty squad leader said in a lot of ways what we did was even more strenous than what went on in the field. So I figure, if I'd wanted to play football, I woulda been a quaterback-hero-captain kinda athelete saving the superbowl at the last moment and winning the MVP and then when the Nobel Prize Selection Committee see what I did, they'd make a special, one-time-only Nobel Prize for football prowess and give it to me in front of the United Nations with music in the background welling up and releasing doves and balloons, and clowns going crazy with applause and stuff. . . . Gee, I wish I woulda gone into football. . . "

4. Who put the rumble strip on his forehead. That looks nasty!
Edited on Thu Aug-14-03 12:38 PM by kmla
Looks like some asphalt firm put one of those rumble strip thingies on his head. You know, the thing that give you a hint that there is something happening ahead.

But that couldn't be true. There is nothing happening in his head.

(Edited for badd spellin')

9. after being shown how to properly hold a football ...
... W goes on for his photo-op ... pointing to an unpopular male reporter and said: wanna know why they call me numbnuts? (laughter) ... he, then, went off script to say: look, Poppy was kinda goofy and uncoordinated, and he was always away CIA-ing somebody ... so we didn't do much outdoor sports ... jeb and I used to play paperdoll war ... we had our own guillotine and stuff ... we liked to use ketsup and matches ... I think it was good training for what we're doing to the world now ...

10. Now as the day gives silent way to night,
And DU'ers by the score douse screen and lights
And gat them home to their repast, spirits bright,
Then come forth their colleagues of the night
With minds aflame to set the CAPTION right!
