1. Europeans seem to appreciate American roots music...
much more than most Americans do.


Freddy had a sweet voice and a great cry break.

Those two songs are some of my favorite "torchy" rock n' roll tunes...although they can be viewed as country songs or even R&B. American roots music is a pretty big tent and a good song is a good song regardless of style or instrumentation.
