Storm moving in
Monday evening we had a short but heavy storm here in Frankfurt, Germany. I caught the storm moving in

I sure as well was glad to be inside wants it started raining. And it wasn't only raining, it was pouring down.

Afterwards the sun gave a beautiful color to the sky and my balcony plants

1. Beautiful pictures as always Miss H
We had a huge one here an hour or so ago, which knocked out all the electricity - therefore leaving us to roast without AC.

It's back on now, but that explains my being awake at this hour. About to hit the hay again.

2. Thanky cwydro
Fortunately it didn't do much damage here in Frankfurt but a small village about 50 to 60 km from Frankfurt got hit by a tornado. Not the big ones like you had but big enough to do a lot of damage.

Hope you are able to go back to sleep

4. I can see the power in
those clouds. Wonderful pictures.

And your patio plants seem to be on fire - nice effect from the sunset!

8. I would say National Geographic
but I have a personal bias, I've had a subscription for years.

The bird came at the right time. I wasn't sure it would show on the pic. Glad it did.

10. Wonderful....
I meant to ask -- Do you need special equipment to capture a lightning strike?? If you can do it conventionally, how??

12. Hey Blue_Tires
:hi:  :loveya:

Honestly, I have no idea. Me thinks you don't need special equipment, just a good camera and a tripod and then a lot of luck or a lot of pictures.

13. I've always loved your view...
I still say you need to make friends with people in certain apartments so you can get some different vantage points...

How is the exercise machine working for you??

14. I will do my best
I plan on living there for some more years :)

It is working out for me. Except this week. I am coming home each day after 10pm. I will continue my workout next week again.

That is also why I will only reply to your email next week.

15. Great pics MissHoneychurch!
I love it when you post them... It kind of gives me the feeling of being there, which is great because I've always wanted to see Europe. Certainly this ranks right up there w/the next best thing! :-)

16. Thank you
sometimes I worry about my "Room with a View" pictures. But the sky is sometimes so amazing, it is breathtaking.
