Pretty funny stuff this one.

1. It is funny.

My husband sits and laughs through the whole thing.

I don't think it is mean-spirited funny, either. The contestants are willing to get muddy and knocked around for a few laughs. They are being good sports on the off-chance that they might win some money. It does not look that easy to win, but it seems kind of fun.

The Wire -> The Shield -> Deadwood -> Carnivale -> Firefly -> Justice League Unlimited -> Breaking Bad -> Arrested Development -> The Larry Sanders Show -> Faracape -> Battlestar Galactica -> Angel -> Lost -> The Sopranos -> Curb Your Enthusiasm -> Weeds -> Buffy -> Cowboy Bebop -> The Invisible Man -> Doctor Who -> Entourage -> Stargate SG-1 -> Wiseguy -> Seinfeld -> NYPD Blue -> Highlander -> Ninja Warrior -> Unbeatable Banzuki --- to name a few that are infinitely better than Wipeout.

However, Wipeout is good for mindless entertainment and watching people fall in water. I watched it tonight while grubbin out on some munchie food. :evilgrin:

5. Hate it.....but the Unbeatable Banzuke is pretty good and

the Japanese show ninja - warrior: http://www.tv.com/ninja-warrior/show/68412/summary.html is also very good..... both these are so much better then that wipe out.

6. Meh. Seen it a few times.

I just think Wipeout is an Americanized ripoff of Japanese obstacle shows, and does it poorly. I like Ninja Warrior better, even if it is just re-cut clips of a Japanese show (I think).

and my husband will watch it with them. I have an aversion to instant replay. I just do.
