tiny tiny mushrooms! that is regular window screening and 1 3/8 inch (actual measure) lath (furring? molding? I don't know the difference?)

1. A little off topic
when I was managing a weekly motel, one of the rooms had a leak that saturated the carpet underneath one of the beds. It got so bad that mushrooms were growing in the carpet!!

after the last 15 or 20 years, I hafta tell you - I am impressed with anything related to moisture! Green grass, water above the surface of the ground, fungus...you name it!:rofl:

8. oh yeah, huh?
I have porch door that has it real bad. I wonder if now that it is so damp, it will get mushrooms in it too. wet rot on dry rot, interesting.

9. If the other mushrooms get their spore over there
then, yeah, you'll see them sprouting on wet dry-rot. It's basically composting-wood now ;)

10. Not right bloody now
They need to give our damn moisture back. It hasn't rained in weeks. I feel like a sponge that's been sitting unused way too long.
