2. The cyclist was being an asshat.
Notice he's going the wrong way down a one-way street? Drivers in the city should always expect to avoid jaywalkers, but the suit had no reason to expect traffic coming from his left.

4. Jaywalking is a common offense. Going the wrong way down a one-way street isn't.

A lot of places, jaywalking isn't even a crime; pedestrians always have the right of way.

6. Cyclists going the wrong way down a one way street are extremely common in Chicago.

Pedestrians may have the right of way, but that doesn't prevent them from getting flattened even if the driver or cyclist who hits them is completely at fault.

5. They're both idiots. You should never cross ANY street, one way or otherwise, without
looking both directions. Doesn't make the cyclist any less of an ass. But it's just plain stupid to walk out into traffic between two parked vehicles without looking.

8. the same hipsters who can't watch a concert without liveblogging it on video and twitter?
But yeah could be a fake. I say so simply because I doubt they'd not argue it more.
