1. I have to admit, I do the same
I've seen them all a few times now, but always watch when it's on. Not really sure why, I'm not a huge fantasy movie fan...they're just made so well, they always pull me in somehow. Good entertainment I guess!

3. As long as they're watching it because of the story and not because of Orlando Bloom lust,
I'll say congratulations to you on raising intelligent daughters!

I'd fear any child of mine who didn't like LOTR.

4. When the youngest was 4, she loved Orlando Bloom
She is almost 12 now and disdainful of the very memory of thinking he was so cute... the girls will read or watch anything about LOTR.

5. we've watched a number of times! Very engrossing - great films.


We watch the extended versions... and then we watch all the x-tras. Kinda hard-core, I know.
