Your favorite malaprop?
A couple of mine:
He was raped over the coals.
I'm sick and tired of all these subtle insinuendos.

3. oh the shame
I had a cheque dishonoured one time, was for car insurance and I went in to the company's shopfront to redress the problem. The very disapproving young counter assistant kept referring to it as a "dishonest cheque".

12. Two young soldiers obviously new in-country overheard by me on a bus in Germany:
.
.
.
.
A: You were doing so well with her... what HAPPENED?
.
.
B: I dunno. I tried a little German on her -- called her "My little sweetheart" and
she got up and left.
.
.
A: Man, do I ever need to know how to say that. What is it?!?!?!?
.
.
B: Meine kleine scheissie.
.
.
.
.
.
Note: "Schatzie" is "sweetie" --- "Scheissie" is a close approximation of "shit".
.
.
.
.
.
.
No sense of humor... I thought it was adorable.
