A couple new photos of my abandoned munchkin kitty...
...The little guy's looking a lot better, eating and moving around, pretty used to his new home, although he isn't very active yet, which makes me think he's old, especially with his back legs giving him trouble. I spoke with the vet at the feral clinic I volunteer at, and he said that just to let him eat and recover for a while before bringing him in. He is a little shy, wants to be near me, has no desire to be around the other cats. As you can see, he's still skinny, but eating ravenously, so that will change in time. Oh, and the eyes are that color from the flash. I can get rid of red eye with tools, but yellow eyes?

17. Thanks, joey. I needed to see that.
Rough day.

I see that he drags the food from the bowl to the rug. Our Roosevelt does the same thing. Food-trails!

19. Not to be an alarmist, but maybe you should keep him separate from the other cats until...
you can get him tested for Feline Leukemia.

He's hungry, which is a good sign, and it sounds like your cats haven't been licking on him, but better safe than sorry.

20. I did think of that...but they all avoid him so it's probably not a problem...
...and in a previous post I noted that whoever had him before, had him declawed, so it's a pretty good assumption this kitty was indoors his entire life until abandoned so would not have come into contact with a cat that had it.
