When I posted, I was just plain pissed off at all the lost opportunities. And I was worried about the upcoming midterm elections...

I had big hopes for our new President.

I worked early voting for the primary and the numbers of young and new voters were amazing.

So many were happy to be voting, didn't mind the long lines.

I do wonder how many will show up now.

you and CP, what a loss? All that political clout and massive support but no, bipartisan ship, let's see how that works out! It is not working out, the GOP will never support a Dem President.

I was discussing this with my daughter (mind you, I do not count as I live in Canada) and she said, Mom, President Obama is not going to change anything, he will continue what the former President started, how right she is?

Mind you, I do know that he has been trying and has made a difference so far. I am pissed at some of the Dems who never wanted single payer health care, they are not dems! Lots of Dems vote with Republicans and now it is up to Americans to vote in people who would represent them!
