"Real Housewives New Jersey" last night.
No, not the hair-pulling BS at the country club.

Albie's "challenge" getting into law school. Specifically the segment at the law firm.

Albie's lawyer, who appeared on the show, isn't practicing law this week. Specifically, since last week. She's been suspended for three years by the Supreme Court in New Jersey. Not disbarred, suspended.

I know because she was a partner in the law firm where I work.

1. RHONJ= anti-Semitic, classless white trash
I admit that the RH series is my TV junk food, but I cannot stand RHONJ. No member of the cast has any redeeming qualities. Theresa & her husband are now in bankruptcy (I guess she's going to have to live in a "used" house with "used" toilets again), her husband emotionally abuses his children for kicks & grins (on camera no less), they've taught their daughters that all Jews are ugly because they have big ears & noses, & they don't want women on their periods to handle tomatoes. :wtf: planet are these bozos from anyway? Thank God I know other people from NJ so I *know* these asswipes aren't typical denizens of NJ.

The rest of the cast is just as horrid, because apparently their only raison d'etre is hating Danielle. And Danielle....ok, crazy doesn't even begin to describe her, but since the whole point of the show seems to be to bully Danielle, she's the only one I have a teensy-eensy bit of empathy for.

4. I really like Dina Manzo, it's too bad she left the show
All of them, except for Caroline and Dina and their families, don't seem to have much sense. I watched the show last night, and in fact watching the rerun right now, and think they are all so silly, that whole episode didn't even have to happen, Teresa, again, got stirred up. This whole season was silly, it was a train wreck....BRING BACK THE NYC HOUSEWIVES!

5. I don't like any of them
all they do is sit around & piss & moan about Danielle this & Danielle that. Now, Danielle is her own brand of crazy, but when you're dealing with a bunch of cows who do nothing but sit around all day & come up with ways to make your life a living hell, do you blame her for *some* of the things that she's done? Dina left the show because her husband (who it turns out cheated on her before the wedding--another reality TV show I am so glad I missed) didn't want her to be on the show & the father of her daughter also refused to sign a form permitting the daughter to be on the show this season (it is rumored that Dina lied about him consenting to allow the girl to be on TV & this is what Caroline is really upset about--not that her sister lied & possibly forged a signature on a legal document, but that Danielle let the cat out of the bag). Caroline, to me, appears to be the sister-in-law from hell, the one who wants to control everything you do & who you see, etc, & didn't consider Jackie to be a part of her family until she had a baby. :wtf: I'm shocked that Teresa's knuckles don't drag the ground.

Now, as for RHONYC, yes bring them back, but sans Jill Zarin & that "should have been committed" Kelly Bensimon.

2. Really? What is the story behind that? And
did you think it was a little odd that she would take Albie's case? Does he even have a case?

11. Caroline called up with Albie. Got name of Karin online as she did
education/special education law as a specialty. So, no, not odd at all that our firm would have taken this case. But odd in having it filmed, I concede. (But it wasn't my decision.)

And yes, Albie had a case as the school was obligated to take his reading disability into consideration in scoring his tests and application.

6. I am forced to watch the RHW shows
...because doing so enhances the glorious experience of reading Richard Lawson's recaps:

8. i especially loved this!
'But then the moment passed and Danielle found her breath again. Her eyes fluttered back into place and everyone rejoiced and praised their god Zoroaster and Danielle said "Let's go! Let's go! I feel another attack coming on!" Though she meant a personal breath-attack, indeed an attack of a different nature was looming. As she turned with her posse to leave, a hand reached out of the crowd, a single plump orange paw, and grabbed Danielle's hair, twined its porky fingers into her extensions and, with a sickening rending sound, tore them from her head. "Yooiiinkkkkkk!!!" it went as Danielle's head flew back and the bulbous fingered fleshsack held its new bounty up in triumph. Only then could we see the owner of the hand, looking glassy eyed and insolent. It was Bouffant, Jacqueline's Danielle-warring daughter! Ohhhh no Bouffant! You have committed weaveicide, a grave crime in this and any other part of the world. To force a woman to reveal that she wears weave... it is just the direst of cruelties and debasements. Danielle, of course, let out a piercing shriek and ran faster for her car, once again blubbering and heaving, so overcome with rage and sadness and mania was she. Eventually she couldn't walk and had to be carried Bodyguard-style the rest of the way. It was so harrowing and yet... romantic? "They need to be arrested! I'm having all of them arrested!" she howled in Debbie Reynolds' car. "She took my real hair! Some of that was real hair!"

i SWEAR Real Housewives series makes life worth living1
