POS Macbook!
Damn Apple to hell! DVD stuck in my daughter's precious mackbook. I've never even really looked at the drive before, but lo! there's no mechanical eject system! Now wasn't that clever of Mr. Jobs?

Quick check of Google (on a working PC of course) for all the little quirky "fixes" for this problem, and NOTHING works!

Grrrr.... :argh:

6. Thanks, tried that and....
shook vigorously with disk slot pointing towards ground, inserted business card above disk while booting to keep disk from spinning up, left alone for ten minutes while plugged in (didn't get why that might work, but hey it's an Apple product so who knows!)

The only thing I haven't tried is making a pair of "tweezers' out of an old floppy shutter because; A) it scares me that I'll damage the drive and B) who the hell has floppies any more?

7. You've tried the eject button and dragging the DVD to the trash?

8. Simultaneously?
I've hit the eject button on power up and power down, held it for 2 minutes, just about every sequence I could think of.
