Does the width of DU chage throughout the day?

1. I"m not sure what you mean by width...

I haven't seen it do anything like that. It always looks the same on my monitor...

2. I know what you mean, if you're looking at some of the bigger threads.

In that case, it has to do with the chain of sub-threads as they go down the page, pushing it more to the right.

The other way that the width can change is when someone posts a link that's too long to wrap around (usually from yahoo, I've noticed.) So the width of the page becomes the length of the url. That's more annoying than anything to me, and I wish people would learn the BBCode for linking text.

3. If somebody posts a large image (maybe even in a sig?) it will cause the page

to widen - perhaps that's what you're seeing?

4. if you're referring to the home page i know what you mean.

i never have the window maximized, i have it open as a smaller condensed window. from time to tme throughout the day it will condense everything so you can read everything on the home page still, or it will randomly widen and you'll have to scroll back and forth.

i figured it was just a problem with cookies or something but i clear and alas, same thing.
