6. Right now I'm loving peanut butter cup by Hershey's; it's

chocolate ice cream with peanut butter in it. Which is truly odd, because I despise Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Hershey's also has a very good coconut chocolate almond, which is coconut ice cream with chocolate chips and almonds mixed in.

And then a really good coffee will always get my vote.

...but my favorite I can't remember the name of the relatively small company
that puts out a line of sorbets flavored with a touch or wine -- my FAVORITE
by far being a blackberry with a touch of Cabernet (it's NOT Ciao Bello).

23. Our local store has started carrying Fresh Fruit Sorbet

And they are terrific. Pretty much fresh fruit, water, and sugar. I love their lime, strawberry, raspberry, and peach best. They make a mango, but I don't much like mangoes.

one generic store-brand mango sherbet and they have all been EXCELLENT.

I just got (and am going to try tonight for the first time) that same
generic store-brand's pineapple sherbet.

25. The mango sorbet just kept coming off as not quite right flavored peach sorbet

Maybe if I had not just had the peach sorbet, it would have been better. I ate a lot of sorbet, sherbet and ice cream while recovering from oral surgery last fall. That and pudding kept me alive until I could eat solid foods again. Some balanced diet, huh?

29. I couldn't have any solid food for two weeks

No nuts, nothing. We actually made some sorbet at home that we did not sieve - that gave some fiber but the texture was a little nasty. I could eat way overcooked vegetables, but anything warm made my mouth hurt so those were no fun.

The frozen and cold stuff was better and reduced the need for pain killers. I still have about half a bottle of the extra strength Vicodin left because I managed to not need to take so many.

Vanilla, because I can put other things on it and make it a flavor. (Pecan flavor syrup & pecans or walnuts, chocolate syrup, peaches, strawberries or any other fruit, etc).
Chocolate, because it is always good.
Butter Pecan because it is so rich.
Mint Chocolate Chip because of the refreshing mint flavor mixed with the chocolaty richness.
Your peppermint ice cream looks great, but it needs chocolate.

I could go on but since I am not supposed to eat ice cream, it is making me drool.

but there's a regional Ice Cream store called Braum's that carries a 'Peanut Butter Pretzel' Ice Cream that I like a great deal.

EIther chocolate chip cookie dough or (when I used to eat marshmallows) Rocky Road.
Or strawberry cheesecake.
Maybe Blueberry Cobbler.
I have no idea.


My least favorite is Mint chocolate chip.
due to a childhood in which my Dad's family only bought Mint chocolate chip ice cream. ever. Only kind.
