1. Are there any fault systems there?
I think the New Madrid fault is south of Ohio right?

6. A 5.5 in Canada 60 miles north of Ottowa is all I see
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsus/Maps/US2/45.47.-77.-75.php

This region was depressed by the weight of the ice age glaciers and occasionally we get a rebound.

I was out walking my dogs here just south of Lake Ontario and didn't notice anything.

8. My dear av8rdave!
Yes, my Ohio friends tell me there are earthquakes there...

Not many, not often, not big....

But they have them.

:hi:

9. The epicentre was 60 miles northeast of Ottawa. I was in Ottawa. Earthquakes
really do come in waves. I was in a car at the time.

10. I didn't notice (bummed)
If there was shaking here, I totally missed it which makes me a little sad. I was in a conference room in a high rise at that time, so maybe the building was too big to be effected. There have been several small earthquakes in this area, but I've never felt one.

14. That's right where I was
In a hotel. I could feel the building swaying for about a minute. Not even enough to cause any worry....just enough to notice.

Had the same thing happen a few years ago in San Jose Del Cabo, but that one only lasted 10 - 15 seconds.
