I loved his cookbook., particularly the Jam Jar salad dressings. Although, I borrowed a technique from Jacques Pepin to make it. I took a jar of Grey Poupon that was pretty well much empty with maybe one good knifefull of mustard left, mixed in the red wine vinegar, oil, and garlic and parsley, shook it up, Voila! An excellent salad dressing!

Best in the world? The Azuca Burger, at the Azuca Cafe, Quito, Equador:

Ground sirloin, mixed with spicy chorizo and crumbled, well done bacon cooked on a wood fired grill. Served with cheese and a side of black beans and rice.

Best I've ever had, anyway.
