I know some people probably think it's fucking dumb that I can be devastated by the loss of a pen, but I'm a writer - and I write by pen. Specifically, I write with THAT pen. And ONLY that pen.

It's like some NASCAR redneck jackass losing his favorite car.

or a golfer losing his favorite putter.

or a bowler losing her favorite bowling ball.

Or a republican losing his access to the lobbyist-provided house of boy child prostitutes.



I'm so glad I have my pen back!! I really do get stressed (and sad) when I have to write with anything other than that pen.
