Police on Monday found a 40-year-old Sheboygan woman slumped over the steering wheel of a running minivan with a 0.39 blood-alcohol level and her 3-year-old child in the backseat, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday.

That blood-alcohol level is nearly five times the legal limit but is familiar territory for Joleen Stupar, who topped 0.30 on both of her two prior drunken driving convictions, court records show. Stupar, of 3621 Sheridan Ave., Apt. G4, could face up to two years in prison on the latest charge, a felony count of third-offense operating while intoxicated.

She'll probably spend 2 or 3 years in jail, making homemade hooch by letting fruit ferment in a plastic bag.
