Ahhh, man....RIP Marvin Isley

Marvin Isley, whose muscular bass lines propelled the hits of his classic sibling band The Isley Brothers, died Monday in Chicago at age 56.

The cause of death has not yet been announced, though Isley suffered from diabetes severe enough to have caused him to leave the band in 1997. Later, his condition led to the amputation of both legs.

2. I'm sorry to read this, S n o w b a l l...
Diabetes is such a horrible disease, and he passed on far too young. Rest in peace, Mr. Isley.

And for personal reasons concerning this...here is a big hug for you :grouphug:

and has personally affected my family, so thanks, Lefty.

I've always loved the Isley Brothers and his death is so very sad...so young & so talented.
