5. Screw the hamburger. Just make a veggie stir fry (with garlic) and put it on a bed of noodles.
And as for "low sodium", get some dulse (Atlantic seaweed). It is very low in sodium but TASTES salty because it is full of trace minerals that are hard to get in the first place. If you can't find it in the store, you can get it from seaveg.com. If you like the sensation of salty food but don't want blood pressure of 180/110, that's the way to go.

9. Normally I'd vote for burgers, but I haven't had a good bowl of chili for years.
Chili it is. Spicy, meaty chili.

Chop up a little onion and jalapeno. Mix it in with the meat, flatten into a patty and cook. Add your favorite cheese.

22. Meatloaf...
.
...put half the meatloaf mixture in the pan. Press down the
center (leaving about a half-inch rim, and fill the indentation
with Worcestershire-and-a-little-Cholula-sauced sauteed
chopped mushrooms. Cover with other half of meatloaf mixture.
.
.
.
M-m-m-m, boy HOWDY!!!!
.
.
.
OR
.
.
.
You know... for KIDS!!!
.
.
.
Make a very long misshapen meatloaf -- form the bottom half --
cut the ends off hard-boiled eggs and form a long continuous
egg tube down the center (I flank this with tubes of stuffed
green olives) and cover with the top half.
.
I call these Dinosaur Turds (it's how they lay their eggs).
.
Kids are HEROES the next day at school when they tell people
what they had the night before.
.
.
.
.
.
I LIKE cooking for kids.
.
Their moms roll their eyes and say "MIDDLEFINGERMOM!!!" in
a very EXASPERATED fashion.
.
But they invite me back to cook for their kids.

24. It depends on what else you have.
Do you have tomatoes and onion? Pickles? Buns or bread? Then hamburgers (or cheeseburgers if you insist)

Do you have pasta and sauce? Then spaghetti.

If you only have onions and some bread crumbs or rice, then meatloaf.
