Anyone here work in banking?
I have a question - about a corporate account, but I think the issue would apply to any type of account.

Would a bank close a corporate account for 'online security violations' and then be VERY VERY slow about returning to the company the funds in that account? Like, 2-3 weeks slow in turning over funds?

I ask, because I was sent a check on the account that was (subsequently) closed ... and am uncomfortable with the explanation being given to me.

Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

:hi:

1. Talk to the highest level banker you can at the bank in question .
I think your leg is being pulled. If this is the check writers explanation it's a lame one.

2. I did --
was told that they could only give me info after a subpoena ... since it's considered a bad check.

I'd like to be paid - this person has a lot to lose if this shady shell game came to light. Grrr.
