You know, why can't I have an anteater as a pet?

They are cute and they would take care of any ant or termite issues I might have in the house.

I think anteaters would make wonderful pets!



This is the Silky Anteater and it only grows to the size of a cat. That would make a perfect house pet. And according to Wiki they only poop once a day - easy to care for too :D

4. Yes but according to that FAQ sheet linked above....
domesticated anteaters are very gentle with their owners. That shredding is for wild anteaters.

Anyhow my arms are already clawed to death by my 2 cats - what's a few more scratches?
