Cold weather Super Bowl - New York lands 2014 SB

Not sure what i think about this...One one hand, why should SB only be played (basically) in Miami, Arizona, Tampa Bay, New Orleans, etc....Any city with an NFL team should have the chance to host a SB...But of course, the city has to be equipped to handle it, Jackonsville was NOT few years ago when they had it, some fans and media had to stay on cruise ships for the SB between New England & Philadelphia...

But a strike against a cold weather SB is does the NFL want to charge $800 (face value) a ticket & have a 6-3 game in below zero weather?...

It's to be here in NEW JERSEY, not New York.

Hey, with global warming, it could be positively steamy in NJ by then.

sure, it's cold, but it ain't Green Bay. A more typical scenario would be highs in the 20s.

edit: nor does East Rutherford, NJ, all of eight miles away.
