They'll be practicing outside all day! Nothing like going to lunch and seeing one of them screaming over your head. :bounce:

1. We get this a lot in Tucson from the airbase here...
.
...just not the Blue Angels or whoever they are.
.
A real ugliness for residents close to the airbase, but
not much of a problem for the rest of us.
.
What was COOL was when there was an airshow in town and
they had aircraft from four different wars flying in close
formation together -- WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, and The Gulf.
.
Coolest by FAR was the P-51 Mustang.

5. I LOVED the week I spent in Virginia Beach one summer
there were jets flying over constantly. The USS Nimitz was in town and docked off shore and each night the jets would conduct night exercises and fly directly over our hotel. You could sit out on the balcony and watch the red lights flare up on the carrier and watch as they took off and streaked over us. Saw a ton of F-18s and a few F-14s.

I haven't been to an air show in years. I want to go the Andrews AFB Air Show but there has always been things going on that weekend, this year was no exception. I'll have to make sure I keep that weekend open next year.

4. I love the 2 second delay between seeing the jet and HEARING it
The Angels are here for two days, so I'll be getting LOTS of pictures.

7. think about living in fear of them using weapons on you or your village
(I'm ignorant of types/models of this kind of thing, but crap flies over us all the time - huge helicopters and jets playing in the hills - I hate it and can imagine the poor Iraqi and Afghani peoples being subjected to the terror of these war machines)
