1. I never got to see it.
All the kids were talking about seeing "The Film" in 5th grade. But it seems even back then the fundies had the clout to have it taken off the curriculum.

2. One day, when I was about ten, my dad came home and threw a book at me
It was illustrated with fairly clever paper cut-outs of Mommies and Daddies and what they do when they love each other. He never said a word about it and seeing that he worked at a newspaper, I'm fairly sure the book was some freebie. That, for me, was "the talk".

:)

3. I got the same "talk"
Although dad did ask me about a week later if I had any questions.

5. I didn't even get that or anything close to "the talk,"
at school and certainly not at home. However I was told to marry a good Lutheran girl. What to do before or after that was left to my imagination.

4. Catholic School... probably 6th grade...
.
...they bring in a doctor to give us "the talk".
.
.
As I amember it, he was a pretty cool guy.
.
.
One of the kids asked how long after pregnancy you could keep having sex.
.
.
His response?
.
.
"If you can talk the paramedics into allowing it, on your drive in to the delivery room."
.
.
Raised nun-eyebrows more than once, he did.

6.  I made out in the back of the classroom with Claudia Lopez when they showed us the film
It was the 70s. I don't gotta justify nothin' beyond that.

7. "Debbie Does Dallas" was kind of lame, but "A Scent of Heather" was an excellent movie.
I know, my titles are rather dated. It's been a long time since I've seen one.

9. I remember "the talk"
I was about 15 and had showed up after school one day with a girl. After she went home, I was in my room and Dad walked in and tossed a box of trojans on my desk. He said "use those".

I looked up at him and he said "I know you already know what to do, you've lived on a farm all your life, just if you're going to do it, use those, you see what happened to your big brother, knocked that damn girl up and now he's stuck with her" (he could not stand my brother's first wife). Then he said "oh, and don't let your mother catch you doing it in her house, she'll flip her lid and I'll never hear the end of it!"

and that was "the talk"
