Canadian Day trip..what can I bring back?
I've been trying to find what I am allowed to bring back to the States after a day trip to Victoria next week.
Being Canadian living down here, there are a few Canadian delicacies I would like to bring home wihtout pissing off the CBP.
I've been looking on the CPB website but can't find a damned thing.
All I want is a few packages of bits & bites and some Canadian candy(smarties, flakey)
I'm going on a field trip with my daughters school, I'm a chaperone(HA!) and I wanted to take advantage. Also, if I know, I might be able to mule the kids with extra bits & bites!
Anyone know?

1. Here you go...

They don't like you bringing things like meat and fresh produce across the border. Most pre-packaged stuff, like candy, is fine.

Enjoy Victoria! I am really jealous. I went there several years ago, and I just loved it. I would move there yesterday if there was a decent job waiting for me.

2. Thanks! I lived in Vancouver and Nanaimo for several years
Before moving to Washington State.
And Victoria is a lovely town for sure. Been there a couple times before I was married.
I think the kdis will enjoy it greatly.

Trust me on this one.

You wouldn't even fool the kids -- they'd know the "au pair" you hired
is REALLY a "hook-air".
.
And they would question the way you're ingesting your "pixie sticks".

lots of different varieties and they cost way less there then here in the States.

P. S. We would never leave Canada without a bag full of Kerr's.

As long as the codeine is locked up with the aspirin and caffeine you're cool with the border boys.
