2. The code for that would not seem that difficult.
Any platform with 4 legs, would only have to have code to keep it from tilting one direction or another.

Then any tilt would put a leg further out till tilt is corrected. That way the platform would always have legs supporting it from falling one way or the other.

So if it tilts one way, then a leg goes further out to compensate, and maybe a shortening of leg on tilt side.

By always having platform between legs and platform level, then it would never fall over.
