Anybody good with iMovie?
I realize this might drop like a stone in the Lounge... suppose I could donate and post in the Computer group forum. But I'll try my luck here.

I don't do video editing much. I have a few home movie clips on my hard drive, which are MP4 files. They play in Quicktime, but when I try to import them into iMovie it doesn't work. I go to "File > Import Movies" and create a new event with the videos I want. But then when I try to view the clips in the event, I get a message that says "No Matching Video."

If I go to my videos folder the clips are there and viewable, but they're not showing up in iMovie.

Anybody have any suggestions?
