Got my glasses...

If you've followed my adventures (unlikely), I ran into a problem with the eye testing at the DMV last week. Had to get glasses.

Well...



What do you think? I'm not used to it. :/

1. Are they just for reading? They look very nice.

I couldn't live without my reading glasses. I'm far-sighted and can't read anything up close.

4. I probably could get by without wearing them all the time...

But my vision is 20/400, so I am pretty blind. With that said, I've spent 25 years without glasses. I've kind of adjusted to life through my eyes and it isn't horrible. I can drive. I can read. I can watch TV. It's just not as clear as it would be with my glasses.

They're cheap glasses for that reason. I'm not sure I can commit to wearing 'em all the time. And thanks!

8. If you think about it, borg is a method, new way to think on that.

I have thought on the metaphors for borg being many meanings, but actually they are a method.

Money uses economic and security threats to assimilate, if you do not do certain things and speak for money, then money does not support you.

In the same way the ideas of sharing and compassion spread in a similar way, and are supported in a similar way.

Same thing with many other ways of thinking, honor, integrity, love, and what I think of as worse ways, deception, despair, self only, and many other ways of thinking.

So it is like there are many forces, usually sub grouped into light and dark, that use borg like methods, but the borg in the movie had no independent thought, that is not what I feel, I type what I think, and never have to do things if I think and feel on what they could be about and disagree.

So borg is a method, that is a new thought on that topic for me. Interesting post.
