Bull Durham and Field of Dreams are terrific movies, and I liked For Love of the Game. Just keep him away from post-apocalyptic boats and Whitney Houston.

Well-written, funny, and wonderfully unsentimental for a baseball movie - as it should be. Never could stand the Reaganesque feel-good warm & fuzzies of 'Field of Dreams'. Bleh.
