I've heard about litters having more than one daddy. Could this litter be from two daddies?

when I can't have one?

My wife is allergic, but we both love cats. She's threatened to let me get one (or two) before, but right now isn't good, as we're both working.

And this is the 3rd (at least) time someone has offered up cats lately.

Now I have to give "the serious talk" here, of course. Can we get mom and dad fixed now? Can we counsel (and perhaps require) that adoptors of these little lovies get them fixed, as well?

Please screen adoptors carefully. Sometimes it is best to advertise with an adoption fee rather than "free". When people have to pay for a pet, many times they perceive it as having more "value" than when they get it free. I know that may sound strange, but I've seen it happen.

Okay, serious talk over. Thank you for taking care of these sweeties, and I wish you the very best of luck in finding TERRIFIC homes for them.

15. Thanks... yeah if Rusty and Betty's original owners *?* had ...I wouldn't be in this pickle!

....I'm in NO WAY able to have them fixed at this point in time...couldn't let them go hungry though and this is the result! I do hope to find them good homes...they're all my heart! :)

I know the MommaKitty who brought us her kittens did - she was ready to party very quickly.

It is much, much easier to get males neutered -- and often much cheaper... any way you can see if your local vet or shelter will do a cheapo / quickie neuter? If you explain the cohabitation of sexually mature male and female cats they may help you out.


The kittens are dolls. We had three cats when MommaKitty showed up, and I kept MommaK and her three girls - couldn't part with them.

It's always just wonderful when someone else's "problem" winds up on your doorstep, isn't it? No, you cannot just ignore them and let them go hungry. You did a nice thing by helping them and I commend you for your efforts.

I don't know where you are located, but as indicated in one of the other replies, many cities are having an "awakening" of sorts about the importance of spay/neuter, and many cities are putting funds into low cost spay/neuter clinics, etc.

I sincerely wish you the very best of luck in finding homes for these guys, etc., and I hope something wonderful happens for you because of your generosity towards them!

We have a black cat named Blackie, too - she was a stray who adopted us a few months back now she rules the roost.
