normally intelligent people. I have had some tell me to scrap Windows and run WordPerfect under Linux and WINE. OK, I could see dumping WordPerfect for the latest Open Office, which has finally become usable, but why should I?

What possible advantage is there in having an OS and then running an app to fake another OS inside the first one when you had the first one all along?
