Sisyphus

Did it feel
like that

climbing and
climbing endlessly

wondering if you’d
ever get rid
of
it

knowing the pain
feeling it
crushing

your mind
overcome
with it

sadness at
the
mistake

but Sisyphus
didn’t know
he kept climbing
pushing that rock
endlessly

waiting for
someone to say
something, anything

to release him

the way you did
for me
