Nasty pollen counts this year. I'm actually pretty amazed since we had an ice storm knock out so many trees about a year and a half ago.

Bees don't visit grass. Rye, wheat, pine trees too; the list of plant life bees don't visit is actually very long.

Most airborne pollens are airborne for a reason, to pollinate without the benefit of insects.
