1. looked to me like he has a "chair" inside of his clothes
which is perhaps bolted to the platform too.

3. I wondered the same thing...
He moved his head and arms but his leg was completely motionless, like a rigid support.

Either that or there were magnets used with one in the base repelling one in his pants...

2. A steel support running from the platform...
.
...up through the back of his boot and pants?
.
.
.
That's an artificial left leg, allowing an
even STRONGER support to be used?
.

4. I wondered about that, too.
But how did he get set up? Did they roll him out and set him there for awhile, then roll him back in? What if he had to go to the rest room?

Perplexing...

5. That is an old trick.
Edited on Wed May-05-10 01:06 PM by RandomThoughts
It was used in the Micheal Jackson stage show Where he had a peg in the ground to hook his foot too so he could lean against gravity.

Also used by some Hindu's, where they use a seat from a cane as a trick.

The concept is that people see what they are used to seeing. Because the guy is in a sitting position with no seat, people thinks it is weird, but actually he is standing with an anchor to the platform.

6. Based on the looks from the crowd, my guess is 'natural gas'
commonly referred to as 'farts'. No doubt caused by a a diet of brats and sauerkraut.
It is the same way meditators are able to float. Different ingredients in the diet, though.
(I learned this from Mad Magazine as a child. Who said it wasn't educational?)

7. I read that as...
.
..."('natural gas') is the same way MODERATORS are able to float."
