LOL! I Finally started watching "Heroes"

I refused to watch it for years, assuming it was watered down Lee/Kirby.
Well- IT IS- but it's still great.


I generally assume that anything on the networks must suck. Guess I was wrong!

It's a little violent at times, but what a cool show-I would certainly let kids watch it if I had them. I'm so happy to see a show that inspires people to make sacrifices, be moral, heroic and to try to do the right thing.

1. It starts to suck tremendously after the first season.

They just can't get that first season magic back.

2. That's what everyone says, but I strongly disagree. I'm already on season 4.

It became more & more like a comic book as the seasons progress- that seems to be the problem that most people have with it. All the convoluted time paradoxes & side switching is typical comic book fare- I love it. Basically telling the same story over and over is all any comic book (or any serial of any genre) ever does- it's part of the medium.

Also, the first origin stories are always going to be more interesting than anything that follows- also common in comic book story telling.

I'm glad to finally see a show that is made especially for ME: a hard core, true-beleiver comic book fan. I dont mean you- but if dabblers & late comers to the super hero craze dont get it, then to me that means they are finally doing it right.

3. Hiro and Ando were

my favorite characters. I've watched every season, since it came on. But I stopped after about 6 episodes in this season.

I agree. I loved it when it first came on. I used to DVR multiple episodes and watch them all at once, kinda like a movie. But I had a hard time watching this season.

7. I saw most of season one. I saw a little season two, and a couple...

...episodes of season three before I decided I didn't want to spend any more time on it. But I liked what I saw of season one, so not too long ago I bought season one. Maybe a month ago, maybe a bit more.

And I've watched exactly two episodes. I just can't seem to find the time to watch it. Admittedly, I'm not watching anything else, either.
