Steppenwolf
Listening to Steppenwolf and weeping for the good old day. Anyone here remember seeing Easy Rider for the first time? What was it like?
I saw it in London in Piccadilly circus - it was 1967 the era of swinging London - all the fantastic clothes - i vaguely remember the movie the room was so thick of smoke i could barely see - i was also busy crossing hands - left hand with joint to the person on the right and vice versa. I miss the good old days!!!!!

1. I bought the Easy Rider sound track last year.
but is this the song you are thinking of?

America,
Where are You now?
Don't You care
About Your Sons and Daughters

I think it was called "Monster".

6. Wow, I didn't get to see Easy Rider until 1969
but it was cool in the later, US release.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0064276/

it left me very confused - I was 9.

7. They played with the Turtles
in the first concert I ever attended. 1970 I think it was. I miss some of the things those days too.

8. Subject: I used to Jam with Larry Byrom... He lived down the street
from me in the 60's here in little old Huntsville, AL. Great musician and a great band.

This area has always been ripe with great musicians... When McCartney started recording at Muscle Shoals the quotient turned up a notch.

9. Saw them once...
about 1976-77 or so...

Fort Bragg NC...

At a gymnasium...

Packed SRO crowd of about 30... :wow:

Didn't play "Born to be Wild"...

It made the puppet show scene from "This is Spinal Tap" seem like the Knebworth Festival.
