Opinions on how this picture was faked?
That's my best friend with "The President". Every time he goes to DC he tries to prank me with a pic like this. Before, it's always been cardboard cutouts and stuff but this one is better. I can't see it good enough on this crappy screen to tell if it's photoshop or how it was done. If anybody spots how it was done, I'd appreciate it :)

3. I'd call PhotoShop but quick "busted" question - does he wear a wedding band?
The head area shows a crisp contrast to the background, unlike Obama's. Also, the jacket near the globe in the background - same thing.

6. Obama's left arm with the tattoo is bent unnaturally.
The hand of that arm is inside the pants of your friend.

7. I say if Michelle's not in the photo, it's a fake, and even if it's real it's just not cool enough
That guy, wazzizname, that hangs out with Michelle is OK, I guess, but he just doesn't have the incredible coolness of Michelle. Has anybody figured out yet whether she's serious about him?

Here's the Obama display at Mdme Tussaud's in Washington.

http://www.madametussauds.com/London/OurFigures/WorldLeaders/BarackObama/Default.aspx

They may have repositioned him since last year. Or it may be a different location. There was a Bush display at Mdme. T.'s in Las Vegas a few year's ago and Bush was posed with his hand out. The Oval room scene was smaller than the Washington site, but there is only a little shown in that pick. It would explain the lack of eye contact too if it was a dummy.

12. Hi, L!
I'm sure all the drapes in the room are supposed to match. The ones behind your friend are darker. Maybe taken in different light?

13. Why are the sleeves darker than the shoulders?
Both suit jackets look like someone darkened the sleeves, but the shoulders and chest area of the jackets are lighter. I can see brush marks there.

15. Ask him to show you the tie he wore for the occasion.
I think he just shopped his head on another body in an authentic Oval Office picture. His head is too small...which is why the hand looks so enormous.
And, like others have said, they don't really seem to be making eye contact.

16. There are a few telltale signs
If you look at the outline of his figure, you can see unevenness. Someone has attempted to feather the edges, but they clearly don't match up with the smoothness of the outline of Obama. The next clue is the exposure on their faces. Obama has a darker complexion, yet he's still overexposed as one would expect with him wearing a much darker suit. The picture gives the appearance of front lighting, perhaps from a camera mounted flash. I would expect your friend's face to be significantly overexposed, but it's not. Now it is possible to use photoshop or even traditional chemical photo-processing techniques to lighten and darken specific areas of a photograph. However, once areas are overexposed to saturation on the original media, you don't get those pixels back and I would expect to see areas of saturation on your friend's face, but there isn't much. His hands are also darker than his face. While this might be possible if the light source wasn't a camera mounted flash, I don't suspect this is the case.

I probably wouldn't have guessed it a fake if you hadn't said so. All in all it isn't bad, although the poor quality is certainly a clue or at least a point of suspicion.

18. The eye contact is off too
The friend is not as sharp as Obama, and it looks like they're not quite sharing the same perspective.
