Holy crap, I just finished my taxes--

waited until the last minute because really, I don't want to know how much I owe.

But SURPRISE--even with having no taxes taken out of unemployment for 4 months, I still pulled an over $600 refund!!! First time in at least 10 years!

1. I just knew I'd be paying some mega taxes....

I got laid off last year, but I got a nice severance package,...I lucked up on a job just 2 weeks later that gave me a nice salary raise..so I just thought I was going to owe...

but no!:bounce:

oh and the year before that...IRS decided my taxes needed an adjustment and sent me a bill for about $30K :wtf: after I picked myself up off the floor - I called a tax friend who helped me sort it out...and IRS finally agreed that it was only actual about $600 due..:crazy:
