OMG, I'm in shocked, never was there legit concert video released of any shows I have ever attended. And I was not a Dead follower, they just happen to be playing in Philly at JFK and my friends suggested we leave work early and go to the show.

I drank way too much wine, no I wasn't stoned or tripping (although my one co-worker decided she wanted to trip - thanks for asking if I minded babysitting), decked some guy who tried putting his hands up my dress and left early because I can only take so many hours of this stuff. But overall it was a beautiful day, fricking hot as hell and the last concert ever at JFK. I was suppose to see the Stones there but after the Dead show a crack was found in JFK Stadium. No more shows there and the location of the old JFK is now a parking lot for the Linc and Citizen Bank.

3. Except I lived in Doylestown Pennsylvania
so there goes that theory.

And the concert was 21 years ago. So if you see some curly head moppet with a pink floral sundress - that's me.

6. I lived in the West Chester, PA area...
.
...from 1981-1998, but only saw two shows there.
.
The Who's (ahem) first "Farewell Tour" -- missed The Hooters
and Santana but was bowled the fuck over by The Clash.
.
An Amnesty International show with Youssou N'Dour, Tracy Chapman,
Sting, and Peter Gabriel. DYNAMITE show. Especially Sting doing a
solo version of "I'll Be Watching You" which, considering the
context of the benefit, went from a song about an uber-creepy
stalker to one about an awesome organization.

8. This was their first in 1982...
.
...and I think they've had 3 or 4 "Final Farewell" tours.
.
The backdrop for the stage for The Clash was jungle camouflage and for
The Who it was all black in honor of Keith Moon.
.
The Who was pretty damned good, but The Clash was phenomenal. Most of
the crowd couldn't have cared less about their performance, and were
chanting "W-h-o-o-o-o. W-h-o-o-o-o." through their whole performance.
At one point, Joe Strummer stepped up to the mike and said, "FUCK YOU,
this is OUR stage now.
.
I suddenly had a little bit of a man crush on him.
.
I wasn't then and am still not now a BIG fan of their studio stuff,
but that was one of the best rock shows I've ever seen.

10. I was at that Who concert -- at JFK, right?
And at the Stones' "farewell" tour (George Thorogood opened) the year before. We're talking like '83 and '84? Such BS.
