4. The irony of that statement
...is that it pushed Mick & Keith into writing "Some Girls", which was their best album in years (I actually think it was a BETTER record than Exile myself, though that isn't a popular opinion) And that record & subsequent tour had the Stones sounding more than just a little "punkish" themselves.
