I loved her strong character in Designing Women. She embodied the strong Southern lady for me. I think a lot of women took something from her confidence and strength and sassiness - you could be assertive and sexy and classy. She'll be missed.

7. Although she was quite the opposite of Julia Sugarbaker,
no one could have played that character like she did. I loved her. RIP Dixie. I didn't know she was even sick. Not sure how she died, but I am saddened by this.
